Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and develop effective communication strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive and individualized education.
  • Stay current with best practices and emerging research in the field of speech-language pathology, applying this knowledge to improve services and outcomes for students.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Eligible for Clinical Fellowship (CF) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • State licensure or ability to obtain licensure in the state of employment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passionate about working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
