Job Description

This role will primarily be responsible for creation, review, and editing of technical documentation for manufacturing, testing, labeling, and change control activities. The successful candidate must be able to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and the general public. Strong time management skills are also essential to ensure timely organization and completion of tasks, as well as filing of all records.

Requirements

To excel in this position, you will need a minimum of two years' experience in a documentation-supported activity. A high school education is required, with an Associate's Degree preferred. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and document management systems is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain databases in support of operations, including assigning new component, subassembly, and assembly part numbers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure accuracy and currency of part number data bases.
  • Assist in reviewing FDA export documentation.
  • Design, format, and maintain critical document files, such as device history records, bill of materials, drawings, document change notices, training records, molding, and extrusion process validations.
  • Support Production in generating labeling.
  • Expedite documentation for purchased, molded, assembled devices through production.
  • Manage specification Bill of Material (BOM) and associated technical documentation.
  • Manufacturing General Dimensioning and Tolerance knowledge is a plus.
  • Special projects may be assigned as needed.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $65,000-$80,000, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
