About the Job
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital – Corewell Health Grand Rapids. As an OT, you will work closely with patients who require extended hospital care due to chronic or critical illnesses.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to meet each patient's unique needs and goals.
- Conducting assessments, evaluations, and treatments to help patients recover from injuries or illnesses.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation to support patient care and treatment plans.
- Participating in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid, current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan.
- Graduation from an accredited program in Occupational Therapy.
- Eligibility to take or has passed the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam.
- BLS certification upon hire.

Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 – $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, paid time off, and more.
