Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our esteemed Heart and Vascular Care team. This role emphasizes a comprehensive approach to diagnosing, managing, and surgically treating heart and thoracic conditions, with a balanced focus on both heart and thoracic cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert surgical care in a full-scope cardiothoracic practice.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure effective communication within the healthcare team to foster a supportive environment.
  • Manage patient care across both hospital and outpatient settings, including designated clinic hours.
  • Deliver continuous education and mentorship to staff, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.
  • Align with organizational goals centered on health improvement, exceptional patient experiences, and cost efficiency.
  • Participate in health management initiatives and uphold evidence-based medical practices.
  • Contribute to the financial and clinical performance of service sites.
  • Work closely with the Oncology Service Line to facilitate necessary thoracic surgical interventions.
  • Provide on-call support for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases.
Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have 1 to 5 years of post-training experience, demonstrating outstanding patient care skills and a strong motivation to collaborate within a team environment. Candidates must be eligible for a medical license in the relevant state.
