We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Vascular Surgeon to enhance our well-established practice in New Mexico. Our focus is on well-being, starting with our medical professionals. Our Vascular Surgery program is recognized as a leader in the region, offering a broad spectrum of services aimed at the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of vascular conditions. As a premier center for vascular care, we pride ourselves on delivering advanced, evidence-based treatment options. Our program performs over 1,000 vascular surgical procedures each year, utilizing two hybrid operating rooms and a hybrid suite within our Cardiovascular lab. We also manage an ICAVL accredited peripheral vascular laboratory.

The Vascular Department is dedicated to providing all facets of vascular diagnostics, open surgical repair, and endovascular interventions.

Key Features of the Practice:

  • Access to two hybrid operating rooms and a catheterization lab.
  • A dedicated Vascular OR team with scheduled block time.
  • Surgeons typically spend two days in the clinic and three days in the operating room each week.
  • Collaborative team of three experienced surgeons offering mentorship opportunities.
  • Comprehensive range of procedures, including:
    • Carotid and aneurysm surgeries, treatment for lower extremity, arterial, and venous diseases.
    • Management of mesenteric vascular diseases.
    • Dialysis access procedures.
  • 1:4 call schedule.
  • Support from a dedicated group of five vascular surgery advanced practice clinicians (APCs).
  • Established referral network with a significant regional patient base.
  • Incoming surgeon can expect to have a full patient panel from the outset.
  • Collaboration with the Presbyterian Heart Group for resource sharing.
