We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Revive Staffing Solutions Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining local and campus area networks, instructional labs, and network communication gateways.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, design, and prepare specifications for network procurements and implementations
- Assist in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting network hardware, software, and ancillary services
- Make recommendations for network modifications and enhancements
- Develop and implement network monitoring software and traffic data collection and analysis methods
- Provide technical support and expertise to other staff members in installing and configuring network equipment and resolving user and systems problems
- Manage e-mail servers, including archival and spam management
- Assist with server upgrades and consolidation, and provide network security assessments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Security certifications, such as CISSP, SANS, and COMPTIA Security Plus
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE), Microsoft Certified IT Professional Server Administrator (MCITP-SA), or Microsoft Certified IT Professional Enterprise Administrator (MCITP-EA)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) with experience in routing and switching
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory 2012 R2, Microsoft Exchange 2013, and Microsoft Server 2016
- Experience with Google G Suite and/or Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, and Intune
- Experience with audio-visual communications using H.323 protocol, and developing and delivering technical training
- Project management experience for hardware and software implementation projects
- WAN, LAN, and network design experience, including development of layouts and specifications
- Experience with server and workstation virtualization, firewall configuration, and MDM technologies
- Experience with setting up and managing web filters and remote support solutions
- Wireless/Wi-Fi networking experience
- Ability to interact with functional users and technical staff regarding business and information technology needs
- Ability to listen and solve problems, create and maintain documentation, and manage multiple tasks and projects
