Under the guidance of the Director of Operations, the Facility Operations Supervisor will oversee a team responsible for the daily management, maintenance, and service of events and activities at the facility, ensuring adherence to best practices aligned with the organization's policies and procedures. This role collaborates closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to guarantee seamless daily operations of the facility. Key Responsibilities: Specific duties include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct daily inspections of the entire facility to ensure a clean and organized environment, reporting and recommending solutions to the Director of Operations for any urgent issues or concerns.
  • Manage tasks essential for the safe daily operation of facility equipment and amenities.
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety across all areas of the facility, including lobbies, common areas, restrooms, locker rooms, and seating areas.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the equipment utilized within the facility, including HVAC systems, water heating systems, and maintenance tools.
  • Assist the Director of Operations in the recruitment of facility staff.
  • Assess training needs and recommend employee development initiatives.
  • Schedule and direct staff as assigned by the Director of Operations.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of essential supplies as necessary.
  • Oversee machinery and equipment as directed by the Director of Operations.
  • Facilitate training and maintenance of operational equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards for facility maintenance.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in facility management and maintenance is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with operational equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of building systems, maintenance protocols, and construction practices.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be a collaborative team player with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and consistency.
  • Must adhere to confidentiality standards.
  • Ability to work under varying deadlines and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is an exempt position. Flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
