This critical role will oversee the daily operations of our stadium, including engineering, maintenance, set-up/tear-down, custodial/housekeeping, and groundskeeping. The successful candidate will provide administrative planning, direction, and policies to facility staff, ensuring the highest quality service for soccer games, trainings, concerts, and events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for stadium operations, including non-core revenue streams.
  • Manage departmental staff and ensure a sound organizational structure.
  • Oversee budgets and ensure alignment with the Club's strategic plan.
  • Coordinate daily operations of the stadium and training facilities.
  • Implement tools and procedures to manage spaces, work orders, and incident notices.
  • Make improvements to ensure world-class facilities.
  • Spearhead capital improvement projects.
  • Review services for optimization and negotiate contracts with vendors and labor groups.
  • Communicate with departments and staff relative to a master schedule for all stadium events.
  • Collaborate with HR on staff development, including hiring, training, and compliance with labor and safety regulations.
  • Serve as liaison with local officials on facility-related functions.
  • Ensure overall health and safety compliance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in managing sporting/concert venues.
  • Previous experience opening a major sporting facility or working with large-scale sports events.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple personnel, projects, and timelines.
  • Ability to analyze and prepare budgets and project expenses.
  • Extensive knowledge of facilities management, security, guest relations, fan experience, marketing, event planning, logistics, and revenue generation.
  • Experience with a new build stadium from construction phase to completion is preferred.
  • Exceptional knowledge and passion for the sport and culture of football with familiarity of Major League Soccer, English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, etc., preferred.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency a plus.
  • Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience functioning in a 24/7 operating environment and ability to work extended hours and weekends and holidays when required.
