Position Summary:
The Payroll Specialist plays a critical role in managing payroll operations with precision and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and extensive experience with payroll systems, particularly in Excel (including vlookup and pivot tables).
1. Payroll Processing:
- Execute high-volume and intricate payrolls according to the production timeline while adhering to established compliance protocols.
- Ensure payroll accuracy is maintained at 99.5% or above, with all manual adjustments verified for precision.
- Review payroll inquiries thoroughly, ensuring 100% accuracy in all payroll submissions.
2. Service Management:
- Manage and update service requests efficiently, meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
- Provide exemplary customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
3. Time Management:
- Conduct time reconciliations to ensure payroll integrity and document any discrepancies for audit purposes.
- Utilize Workforce Software to assist with employee timesheet management and payroll-related queries.
4. Training and Development:
- Complete all mandatory training and proactively seek opportunities for self-improvement.
- Utilize available resources to enhance skills and knowledge in payroll processing.
Self-Management:
Take ownership of personal performance, consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining effective communication regarding payroll updates.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed on all relevant processes and strive for excellence in all aspects of the role.
