Position Responsibilities

The Child Support Services Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating case details and determining subsequent actions in accordance with state regulations.
  • Conducting interviews, collecting necessary samples, negotiating agreements, and referring clients to community resources.
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence pertinent to cases.
  • Utilizing state systems to maintain up-to-date case information and facilitate automated processes.
  • Executing initial locating activities for clients.
  • Monitoring personal performance through specialized reporting.
  • Addressing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Updating state systems with relevant information and documenting customer interactions.
  • Taking proactive measures to address customer concerns.
  • Performing additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

  • Associate's degree or Paralegal Certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a legal or governmental case processing environment, with public interaction experience being advantageous.
  • Educational qualifications may substitute for work experience.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, collaborate in a team-oriented setting, and align with organizational goals and values.
