Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Maintenance Staff: Supervise and coordinate the efforts of the maintenance staff, recommending new hires, discipline, and contributing to performance appraisals.
  • Perform or Assign Maintenance Tasks: Perform or assign routine to difficult carpentry duties, including installation of new doors and installation or repairs of doorjambs, moldings, hinges, door closers, locks, knobs, etc.
  • Interface with Contractors and Vendors: Interface with contractors and vendors, creating written specifications, and securing bids for services in accordance with established bid process.

Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma / GED.
  • Work Experience: 3-4 years of experience in commercial or multi-unit property maintenance, with a focus on supervisory or management roles.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license, HVAC certification, electrical certification, and appliance certification (depending on property needs).
