Job Summary

Vincennes University is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach in the Information Technology Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and creating a student-centered learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging course materials and instruction to students in the Information Technology program.
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements in the field of Information Technology.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to ensure student success.
  • Collaborate with department faculty to develop and implement curriculum.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or MBA with an Information Technology focus.
  • Relevant industry experience and certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Network+.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to articulate a comprehensive understanding of a community college philosophy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in operating systems, networking administration, and network security.
  • Cisco credentialed instructor or industry recognized certification.
  • Three or more years of work experience in the information technology field.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position located at the VU Main campus site. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a course(s) within the Information Technology program.
