Job Summary

Vincennes University is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Health Science courses to students in the Early College program. The successful candidate will provide instruction and assessment of course objectives, prepare course materials, and participate in professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Health Science Dual-Credit courses to Early College students in assigned sections.
  • Prepare course materials for instruction and assessment as guided by campus syllabi and faculty liaison.
  • Be available for an instruction schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
  • Attend adjunct meetings at the start, middle, and end of the year.
  • Participate in required yearly professional development.
  • Utilize learning management platforms for attendance, grades, and other procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • May hold a Master's degree in another area but must have completed a minimum of 18 graduate hours in healthcare.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Traditional Credentialing Requirements.
  • Master's degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • Experience teaching Med-Term.
  • A minimum of four years of documented related industry experience and AHIMA credential of at least RHIT.
