Job Summary

Price Industries Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage production schedules and workflows to meet customer demands and production targets.
  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain effective training programs to ensure staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs.
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to improve performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the department remains competitive.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency and productivity in a high-volume, multi-product environment.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
