We are in search of a Lead Technical Program Manager for our Trust & Safety Division to spearhead cross-departmental initiatives and programs that encompass Product Management, Design, Research, Engineering, Legal, and Marketing. This role will collaborate with various teams to enhance effective workflows and uphold robust communication channels.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the product development lifecycle and can collaborate with diverse teams to establish scalable operational frameworks. We seek individuals who thrive in uncertain environments and can provide clarity and leadership in managing intricate programs. You will shape our approach to problem-solving and disseminate those insights throughout our product development practices.
This hybrid position is based in San Francisco, CA.

In this role, you will:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of significant programs and initiatives from conception to launch and beyond.
- Act as a vital link among cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration across different time zones.
- Manage program communications with key stakeholders at all organizational levels to ensure transparency and timely information dissemination.
- Identify and mitigate risks by conducting thorough assessments to ensure that implementation strategies align with requirements and strategic goals.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for any issues related to assigned programs.
- Enhance product and technical operations to ensure efficient program and team performance.
- Exhibit proficiency in utilizing technological tools such as Jira, Confluence, Airtable, and others to optimize workflows and boost program efficiency.
- Being a positive influence, an effective communicator, and a collaborative team member.
- Understanding and advocating for your program's strategy and its advantages to Strava.
- Maintaining a growth mindset by continuously seeking ways to enhance our frameworks and processes.
