Job Summary:
Daily Planet Health Services is seeking a skilled Medical Respite Care Specialist to provide exceptional care to our patients. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality recuperative care to individuals who are ill, frail, or functionally impaired. The successful candidate will support the development, implementation, and evaluation of our Medical Respite services, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide excellent care to patients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and emotional support.
2. Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
3. Participate in safety programs, including emergency response teams, to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.

Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required; a Medication Assistant Program certification is a plus.
2. Current CPR and First Aid certification is necessary.
3. At least one year of experience in caregiving for physically ill or functionally impaired individuals is preferred.
4. A valid Virginia Driver's License is required.
