Key Responsibilities:

The Operations Manager (OM) oversees all operational aspects of the site, including staff recruitment, safety protocols, facility management, customer relations, sales initiatives, compliance, and team development.

Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the District Manager.

Classification: Exempt / Non-Exempt

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Essential Duties:
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop all team members.
  • Ensure adherence to LUV onboarding, orientation, and training protocols for new hires, staying informed on all process updates.
  • Provide continuous development, coaching, and support to Assistant Managers and promising hourly staff.
  • Collaborate with People Services on disciplinary matters, including investigations and terminations.
  • Work alongside the Market Leader to enhance local sales through strategic community engagement and marketing efforts.
  • Regularly check and respond to operational emails promptly and courteously, following up on necessary actions.
  • Assist the Market Leader with budget planning and financial forecasting.
  • Review operational reports and ensure timely payroll submissions, cross-referencing for accuracy.
  • Ensure all team members utilize established sales scripts and operational procedures.
  • Maintain a safe operational environment in compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Build genuine relationships with customers through exceptional service to drive membership sales.
  • Create weekly schedules and manage labor in accordance with LUV Car Wash standards.
  • Conduct site walkthroughs to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to service standards, engaging with customers to gauge satisfaction.
  • Address customer concerns and collaborate with the Market Leader to resolve issues effectively, promoting customer retention.
  • Partner with the Facilities Market Leader and maintenance teams to ensure all equipment is well-maintained and operational.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job holders must demonstrate competencies relevant to their position. All employees are expected to stay informed about company policies and updates through designated channels.

Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field is advantageous.

Experience:
A minimum of three (3) years of management experience is required, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality sectors. Experience in the car wash or automotive industry is a plus.

Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize effectively.

Compensation:
$25 - $34 per hour, plus performance bonuses.
