Position Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with potential clients, including property managers, commercial enterprises, and real estate professionals.
  • Establishing and nurturing client relationships.
  • Providing comprehensive information about our products and services.
  • Collaborating effectively with store staff and networking within the community.
  • Proactively seeking new business opportunities.
  • Conducting project takeoffs and preparing bids.
  • Overseeing projects from initiation to completion.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • Developing a growing portfolio of clients through diligent follow-up and management.
  • Participating in local business organizations and networking groups.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in commercial flooring sales or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory; we offer training for those with the necessary sales and estimating skills.
  • Previous experience in outside sales.
  • Project management background.
  • Familiarity with blueprints and bid submissions.
  • Reliable transportation for client visits.
  • Flexible availability for work hours.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn our internal systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A professional demeanor, including reliability and punctuality.
  • Self-motivation and a drive to excel in your career.
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills
