Position Overview:
Nightingale Nurses is currently in search of a travel nurse RN specializing in Medical-Surgical care for an exciting opportunity.

Shift Details:
12-hour night shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Employment Type:
Travel Nursing

Unit Information:
Our facility features 30 private beds with an average patient census of 20.
  • COVID-19 protocols are in place.
  • Nurse-to-patient ratios are typically 2:3, with the support of nurse aides.

Equipment and Support:
  • Respiratory Therapy equipment is available.
  • CPAP machines are managed with the assistance of Respiratory Therapists.
  • Telemetry/Monitor Technicians are present on the unit.

Scheduling and Requirements:
  • Weekend shifts are generally required every third weekend.
  • Holiday shifts are expected every third holiday, including one winter holiday.
  • Floating to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) may be necessary, accommodating Med-Surg overflow or low-acuity PCU patients.

Orientation:
New hires will undergo a comprehensive orientation, including two days of departmental training and one day on the floor.
