Job Description

The Mortgage Underwriting Specialist at QuickRecruit is responsible for conducting thorough analyses of loan files to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company standards. This involves evaluating the entire credit package, collateral, and ensuring data integrity. The successful candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of underwriting guidelines, private investor requirements, and mortgage insurance regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate loan files for compliance with company and regulatory guidelines
  • Conduct thorough analysis of credit packages and collateral
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Recommend loan disposition to underwriting manager
  • Communicate decisions to stakeholders

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of mortgage underwriting experience
  • Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
