Job Description:Quality Assurance Role Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of loans processed through our Correspondent Lending system. Your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will enable you to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily quality assurance reviews to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy.
  • Analyze data to produce reports on findings and metrics, recommending corrective action or gap-related solutions.
  • Identify and escalate suspected fraudulent activity, as well as unresolved issues to management.
  • Meet with operations managers to review findings and promote quality improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulatory changes.
  • Ensure data integrity in the loan origination system by documenting PPR activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of residential mortgage lending experience with broad knowledge of lending regulations and credit/collateral analysis practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced business environment.
