Position Overview:

  • Assume administrative responsibilities during evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical operations and nursing care delivery
  • Act as the primary onsite authority for the Nursing Department
  • Facilitate communication between various departments and escalate issues as required
  • Provide expert administrative and clinical direction in complex scenarios
  • Oversee patient placements and guarantee adequate staffing levels
Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in acute hospital nursing
  • At least two years of leadership experience is preferred
  • Additional specialty nursing experience is advantageous
Educational Requirements:

  • A nursing degree is mandatory (Baccalaureate or Graduate)
  • A Graduate Degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred
Essential Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing theory and practice
  • Capability to inspire and support nursing personnel
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Licensure Requirements:

  • Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nursing License is required
  • Certification in a Nursing Specialty is preferred
