Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to assist in the smooth execution of projects while minimizing disruptions to operations. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with 0-5 years of experience in project engineering, particularly in construction and equipment management.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing construction impairment requests, evaluate their impact, and review execution plans to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Work with area owners to schedule invasive construction and impairment work that may affect daily operations.
  • Develop small scope execution plans outlining business impact, duration, and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Assist in supervising and coordinating impairment work in the field to ensure it is executed according to plan and with minimal disruption.
  • Create site-wide notifications to inform staff of ongoing project impacts.
  • Attend Project Coordination Activity meetings to stay aligned with overall project goals and timelines.
  • Assist in managing asset requests and coordinate the induction of new assets into the project.
  • Assist in overseeing equipment procurement, storage, receipt, and shipping/receiving coordination.
  • Coordinate with Sterling for project equipment receipt, storage, and transfer to the site.
  • Assist in managing equipment installation, including utility and data connections.
  • Assist in coordinating HEPA and room certifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in project engineering, particularly in construction and equipment management.
  • Experienced in construction, project management, and equipment management.
