Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Crossroads At Delta Assisted Living Facility. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide resident care with a focus on dignity and individuality, demonstrating a genuine concern for their needs and well-being.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including the cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
  • Respond to emergency and routine calls via the pendant call system, providing timely and effective support.
  • Participate in the preparation, setup, and serving of meals in the dining room, ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.
  • Make beds and check resident rooms for trash and soiled laundry, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Notify supervisory personnel of any situations that may impact quality customer service, safety, productivity, security, or resident well-being.
  • Document codes using an iPad, accurately and efficiently recording resident information.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age, in accordance with Federal Law and Standards.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing (optional).
  • Passionate about working in an elderly community and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.
  • Ability to work independently, effectively manage time, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow through with instructions.
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and processes.
  • Meet required work schedule and adhere to company attendance policies.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiries.
Physical Requirements
  • Consistently required to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, grasp, twist, and turn, talk, listen, and hear.
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds.
  • Medium physical strength required to perform work.
