We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic engineering student to join our team as a Co-op Embedded Systems Engineer. As a member of our engineering design team, you will work closely with a mentor to design and implement embedded systems for our ignition and flame detection product lines.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design and implementation of embedded systems, including selection and implementation of embedded target devices and support circuit componentry.
- Develop and implement embedded software, select and interface peripherals, and implement standard protocols.
- Design and implement product test equipment and work with a diverse group of engineers in all phases of product development and production support.
- Prepare typical electronics documentation, including code flowcharts, instructions, and code commenting.
- Enrolled in an accredited degree program in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
- Sophomore year or greater completed.
- Ambitious, self-starting, and motivated attitude, with a willingness to learn and ability to manage time.
- Programming experience in C and Python, as well as experience choosing embedded platforms to meet specific requirements.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
