Position Details:
FTE: 1.0, Shift: 10p-6:30a, Schedule: Mon-Fri, Rotating every other weekend.
Role Overview
The Clinical Laboratory Specialist (CLS) position offers an engaging technical opportunity at MultiCare.

In this capacity, you will undertake a variety of daily tasks, including patient analytical laboratory testing, quality assurance, data interpretation, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive specimens and ensure accurate identification.
- Assess specimen suitability; may reject specimens as necessary.
- Prepare and manage reagents as required.
- Conduct instrument maintenance and calibration.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a relevant field.
- Current Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP)CM, or MLT (ASCP) or registry eligible.
- Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification or eligible (if duties include phlebotomy).
- Preferred: Minimum one (1) year of prior laboratory experience.

The pay scale is $42.67 USD.

However, compensation is influenced by various factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to:

If this position is governed by a union contract, compensation will align with the appropriate step on the pay scale based on the applicant's years of experience.
