Nurse Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Charge Nurse in Transitional Care at Mother Joseph Care Center. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the assigned nursing unit, supervising Primary Care Nurses and Nursing Assistants, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor Primary Care Nurses and Nursing Assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in direct patient care by administering medication, providing primary skin care, and assisting in modifying treatment regimens to meet patients' physical and psychosocial needs.
- Re-adjust and reorganize staff based on facility needs to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Contribute to a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care by promoting mutual respect, understanding, and commitment among team members.
- 3 years of RN experience, preferably in sub-acute care, or previous charge nurse experience, or 2 years relevant leadership experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to assess patient needs and develop effective care plans.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
