Position Overview: The Loan Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Branch Manager while gaining insights into the finance industry and Regional Finance Corp's operational practices, ultimately preparing for branch management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert on personal loan products, providing tailored loan solutions to help clients meet their financial objectives.
  • Assist in formulating marketing strategies to enhance the branch's loan portfolio and drive profitability.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships through exceptional service delivery.
  • Utilize account management practices to support clients facing payment challenges.
  • Handle the transportation of funds and deposits to and from financial institutions.
  • Complete the training program as outlined by the Training Department.
  • Monitor and uphold branch standards regarding delinquency management.
  • Process payments and fees in compliance with company policies.
  • Manage correspondence with clients via mail.
  • Facilitate loan applications and assist in the closing of loans as directed.
  • Collaborate with the manager to ensure daily operational procedures are followed.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of business-to-business relationships.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of customer service experience in a sales or cash management environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Successful completion of drug screening, criminal, and credit background checks.
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with liability insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some college coursework completed.
  • 6+ months of experience in consumer finance, with exposure to sales and collections.
  • Leadership experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to relocate for career growth opportunities.
