Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our Radiology Department at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using computerized tomography (CT) scanners and imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including 3-D acquisitions, reconstructions, biopsies, and drainage exams using CT scanners and imaging equipment.
  • Enter exam data into the Radiology Information System.
  • Conduct quality control of assigned individual scans and assist in training new technologists and students.
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, including power injectors, stereotactic biopsy equipment, and other devices.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures, recognize impending crisis situations, and institute measures to prevent further complications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and inventory of CT rooms, including equipment and facilities.
Requirements
  • Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Medical Board.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
