Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all clinical services within the program while managing a limited caseload.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
- Assist clinicians in developing Individual Crisis Management Plans, Behavioral Plans, and Safety Plans as necessary.
- Conduct thorough assessments utilizing standardized measures in accordance with guidelines established by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing therapeutic support.
- Maintain consistent communication and coordination of services with the multidisciplinary team.
- Engage in treatment team meetings and discussions relevant to the youth's needs.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation, adhering to ORR standards for clinical records and preparing for audits.
- Uphold confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure that Serious Incident Reports (SIR) are comprehensive and submitted promptly as per ORR requirements.
- Exhibit professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
- Demonstrate teamwork by fulfilling expected roles and fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues.
- Commit to departmental and organizational objectives.
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
- Master's degree in social work with a minimum of 2 years of post-graduate direct service experience OR;
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Psychology, Sociology, or a related behavioral science with clinical experience, alongside 2 years of post-graduate direct service experience OR;
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of clinical experience in behavioral sciences.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience and must be licensed to provide clinical services in New York State.
- Preferred experience working with traumatized or exploited children, as well as those with behavioral challenges.
- LCSW credential is advantageous.

Role Summary:
As a Lead Clinician, you will coordinate clinical services, provide ongoing individual and group counseling, screen for human trafficking concerns, and offer crisis intervention. You will also be responsible for training new clinicians and supervising clinical staff.
The Unaccompanied Children Program offers long-term and transitional residential care, along with supportive services for Unaccompanied Children (UC) under the legal custody of the Federal Government. Collaborating with the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), our program ensures a safe and nurturing environment for youth in various residential settings, providing therapeutic and educational services necessary for their success through targeted interventions.
