Job Description:

Banyan Search is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Controller to join our client's team. As a key member of the organization, the Corporate Controller will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to 3-4 functional accounting areas, driving process improvements and efficiency.
  • Oversee all accounting, ledger, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial data analysis to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and present financial statement information to the management team.
  • Manage accounting staff, including training and performance reviews, to promote a positive work environment and support staff development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
  • Real estate industry experience a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to promote a positive work environment.
