As the RN Manager for the Med Surg Ortho department on full-time day shifts, you will be tasked with supervising staff performance, ensuring quality patient care, and managing operational elements within the unit. Your role will be pivotal in nurturing a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver direct nursing care in alignment with established protocols
- Analyze financial reports and implement necessary actions to achieve objectives
- Oversee departmental budgets and anticipate future requirements
- Manage human resources policies, recruitment, and staff training
- Guide and mentor team members and Clinical Nurse Leaders
- Conduct performance assessments and provide constructive feedback to staff
- Engage in hospital-wide initiatives and committees
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and institutional policies
- Promote patient satisfaction and uphold high-quality care standards
Essential Qualifications:
- Current RN License in Arizona
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
