Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce city codes and regulations through regular inspections and investigations.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to support code enforcement actions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent code violations and promote compliance.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to citizen complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other city departments to ensure effective code enforcement and public safety.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in code enforcement or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a city vehicle.
