Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager is a key member of the Regal Entertainment team, responsible for the operation and supervision of a theatre and its employees. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and train theatre employees to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality operations.
- Manage theatre maintenance, including minor repairs and scheduling of qualified personnel for large maintenance concerns.
- Oversee the marketing and promotion of feature film engagements, including scheduling of movie show times and delivery of show times to all proper channels.
- Ensure compliance with all theatre policies and procedures, including risk management and emergency situations.
- Count, deposit, and reconcile all receipts taken in during a business day, including cash, credit cards, coupons, gift cards, checks, and other modes of payment.
- Supervise and manage theatre inventory, including ordering and purchasing of concession and café stock and other supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager or senior management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least three months supervisory experience, or six months theatre experience with completion of Cast Certification Program, or a combination thereof.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and develop employees.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Experience in a theatre or entertainment industry setting.
- Knowledge of theatre operations and management principles.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
The Assistant Manager will work in a fast-paced theatre environment, with frequent exposure to loud noises and crowds. The ability to work effectively in this environment is essential.
