Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign daily work tasks for manufacturing Associates, ensuring proper job rotation and optimizing workflow.
  • Communicate priorities of daily schedule and activities to assigned Associates, ensuring clear understanding and expectations.
  • Coordinate assigned manufacturing shift efforts to optimize workflow and associate potential, ensuring seamless handoffs and communication.
  • Directly supervise manufacturing department assigned Associates, ensuring proper procedures and safety rules/regulations are being followed.
  • Identify equipment improvements/repairs and initiate work orders, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Improve standard operational work and system practices, implementing process improvements and best practices.
  • Initiate and participate, as needed, in internal problem-solving/improvement activities, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Interpret company policies to Associates, ensuring compliance and adherence to company standards.
  • Respond to and resolve associate questions or concerns, providing timely and effective support.
  • Update the daily production tracking system (floor schedule) and ensure shift data input is correct and closed, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Work with Team Leaders to ensure their tasks are complete, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Ability to actively participate in problem-solving activities, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ability to apply common computer skills, including MS Excel and email, to support daily operations and reporting.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written, with all levels of Associates, ensuring clear understanding and expectations.
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and system documentation.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of Associates, providing clear and concise communication.
  • Minimum of 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
