We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Janitorial Cleaner to join our team at Rolling Hills Industries, Inc. As a Janitorial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Dust and Clean Surfaces: Dust and damp wipe furniture, desks, tables, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, shelves, chairs, and other areas to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
- Clean High-Touch Areas: Clean high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, and other frequently touched surfaces to prevent the spread of germs and illnesses.
- Empty Waste and Recycling Bins: Empty waste and recycling bins and transport them to designated collection points to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Replenish Cleaning Supplies: Replenish cleaning supplies, such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, as needed to ensure a clean and well-stocked environment.
- Vacuum and Mop Floors: Vacuum carpets and walk-off mats, including edges and behind furniture, and mop floors with wet or damp mops to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Clean Restrooms: Clean restrooms, including mirrors, toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, showers, and partitions, to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Notify Supervisors of Unsafe Conditions: Notify supervisors or call the office of any unsafe conditions or hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Good Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and supervisors.
- Knowledge of Cleaning Products: Have knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Knowledge of Safety Guidelines: Possess knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ability to Clean and Disinfect: Have the ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Good Organizational Skills: Possess good organizational skills to effectively manage cleaning tasks and supplies.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent to demonstrate basic education and training.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license issued by the state where you intend to work to ensure safe transportation.
- Strong Time Management and Customer Service Skills: Possess strong time management and customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to Walk, Drive, Lift, and Carry Heavy Items: Have the ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Attention to Detail: Possess attention to detail to effectively clean and maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Commitment to Internal and External Customer Service: Possess a commitment to internal and external customer service to ensure a positive and professional experience for clients and colleagues.

Casual attire is required for this role. Sitting, bending, stooping, and heavy lifting may be required to perform the duties of this role.
