Janitorial Cleaner

This position requires a TSA security check and offers an advertised hourly rate plus potential for additional compensation based on previous experience.

• Dust and damp wipe furniture, desks, tables, ledges, window sills, and external surfaces of cupboards, shelves, chairs, phones, and drinking fountains.
• Clean lunchrooms and kitchens where applicable.
• Maintain cleaning inventory, order new products when needed, and keep the supply area organized and clean.
• Empty waste bins and recycling bins, transport them to designated collection points.
• Replenish consumable items, such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels, if required within the contract.
• Vacuum carpets and walk-off mats, including edges and behind furniture.
• Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
• Maintain and clean restrooms, including mirrors, toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, showers, and partitions.
• Clean all entrance glass, inside and out, to remove smudges and fingerprints.
• Notify supervisors or call the office of unsafe conditions.

• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners.
• Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces.
• Good organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license issued by the state where you intend to work.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Attention to detail.
• Commitment to internal and external customer service.
• Must be a team player.
