Job Summary:
Hodges Management is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food products while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain kitchen equipment, including cooking stations and utensils.
- Verify inventory levels and manage food stock to ensure optimal product quality and quantity.
- Clean and sanitize cooking equipment, utensils, and work areas to maintain a high level of food safety and quality.
- Manage the flow of food orders, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and presentation.
- Follow established sanitation and safety standards to prevent contamination and ensure a healthy work environment.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds waist-high and stand for long periods of time.
- Good balance and coordination, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with colleagues and management.
- Willingness to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours in length.
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in a dynamic kitchen environment, with frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists. Hodges Management is a drug-free workplace.
