Project Engineer Opportunity

Garver is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Texas Water team in the Dallas/Ft. Worth/Frisco, TX area.

Job Summary

The Project Engineer will be responsible for leading multi-discipline design teams to produce high-quality design phase deliverables, including reports, technical memoranda, design manuals, plans, sections, details, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure their expectations of service are exceeded.
  • Perform planning, modeling, and design projects for water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and other water-related projects.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective designs for long-term operational efficiency while maintaining community and environmental responsibility.
  • Work closely with project managers and design engineers to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Registered as an Engineer Intern (EI).
  • Strong communication and technical skills.
Preferred Skills
  • WaterCAD, SewerCAD, or Civil3D experience.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer or ability to become a registered PE within 6 months of hire.
