We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects from development to construction, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing project design concepts, project plans, and staffing requirements.
- Execute project design, manage resources, and ensure project budget and schedule constraints are met.
- Coordinate the work of engineers, designers, and sub-consultants throughout the project's execution.
- Establish and maintain client relationships.
- Attend client meetings and be involved in marketing, contractual development, and design implementation.
- Manage project team quality system tasks and ensure compliance with Quality Assurance / Quality Control guidelines.
- Visit construction sites to monitor progress and perform other duties as per contract documents.
- Prepare and submit relocation, acquisition, and/or condemnation papers with client staff, property owners, and title companies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
- 8+ years' experience in the field or a related area.
- Valid driver's license.
- Working knowledge of public works project life cycles, from development through construction.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas, or be able to gain reciprocity in the State of Texas within 6 months of employment.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
