About the Role

Packsize develops software using logical Product Teams organized by bounded contexts. A team consists of a Product Manager (including UX), several Software Developers and a Site Reliability Engineer. Multiple teams produce features and improvements using LEAN methodologies to enhance the Packnet cloud-based platform. We need someone who can:

  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and monitor overall progress and status of work/value being produced.
  • Ensure work is Visible, Predictable, and Traceable using ADO.
  • Coordinate with Product and Engineering leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor operational functions and administrative work.
  • Work closely with the Global Director of Software R&D to measure and improve operations.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure effective use of ADO by Product teams.
  • Monitor and identify problems/opportunities with Product Team execution.
  • Work closely with Software R&D leadership and Product Management to address problems/opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain metrics for the Software R&D Org.
  • Help drive continuous improvement based on metric data.
  • Coordinate and drive Demos, RCA, and other department meetings.
  • Coordinate Production system updates for Walmart.
  • Organize tooling, manage subscriptions (including Azure).
  • Promote metrics for Site Reliability and ensure information is shared across the organization.
  • Help develop improved communication with other departments.
  • Develop effective APIs for interactions with stakeholder groups.
  • Assist Software Director in managing operational details of the department.

Packsize offers a competitive salary range of $114k-$170k, considering factors such as role, responsibilities, prior work experience, education/training, and special skills.
