Job Description

Job Overview:
Accountable for the evaluation of tractors and trailers, performing minor maintenance on fuel stations, and conducting fuel inventory counts. Responsibilities may also include cleaning and detailing company equipment as directed by management. Ensure all workspaces are maintained in a tidy and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of tractors and trailers
  • Complete and adhere to the preliminary Equipment Interchange process
  • Implement Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
  • Perform annual inspections if qualified
  • Execute basic mechanical repairs, such as replacing lights, wipers, and decals
  • Ensure all units comply with company appearance standards

  • Follow instructions diligently, demonstrating engagement and productivity, while adapting to changing circumstances

  • Be prepared to undertake additional tasks as required
Scope of Work:

Engage in moderately complex tasks following established procedures; may involve diverse work routines; apply a range of skills and experiences; select appropriate alternatives from defined options; may provide training to new team members.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:
  • No prior experience necessary
  • Ability to work in humid environments
  • Capability to lift 50 lbs overhead repeatedly
  • Ability to frequently enter and exit company equipment
  • Regular and punctual attendance is a fundamental job requirement
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Physical Requirements: While performing this role, the employee may occasionally stand, walk, sit, use hands or fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work Environment: The responsibilities of this position are carried out in both an office setting and a light industrial environment, where minor to moderate noise levels may be experienced due to office and industrial equipment.
