Electrical Lineworker

We are seeking a highly skilled Lineman - Splicer Journeyman to join our team at Evergy. As a key member of our distribution team, you will be responsible for constructing, testing, maintaining, removing, repairing, and operating the underground and overhead distribution system.
Key Responsibilities- Construct and maintain the distribution system, including underground and overhead lines
- Perform electrical and non-electrical related duties, including substation work
- Operate equipment necessary to perform work assigned, including bucket trucks, digger derricks, and pressure diggers
- Participate in regular safety training and adhere to the Company's established safety rules and guidelines
- Perform minor, operator-level service on trucks in the field and help or change tires as needed
- High School or equivalent education
- Minimum of two years' work experience as a Journeyman Lineman, or successful completion of a recognized apprenticeship program
- Class A CDL and D.O.T certification
