Job Title: Business Analyst - Smart Building

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Apex Systems. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in the success of our Smart Building project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from various stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for IT systems and solutions.
  • Analyze current technology systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to design new IT solutions, modify, enhance, or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements.
  • Work with the QA team to ensure that the end products meet business requirements.
  • Define and execute test scenarios and test scripts.
  • Support change management initiatives, ensuring that changes to IT systems are smoothly implemented and stakeholder expectations are managed.
  • Provide support and training to users of new systems and for enhancements to existing systems.
  • Analyze data to help inform decision-making and produce reports as required by the business.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of business data.
  • Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and how they can be implemented into IT systems.
  • Technical skills in system design and analysis, familiarity with programming languages, databases, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in documenting requirements, specifications, and user manuals.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and its regulations is beneficial.
  • IIBA CBAP, IIBA CCBA, or PMI-PBA certifications or similar.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and compliance standards relevant to the pharmaceutical industry, such as GDPR or HIPAA.
  • Experience with BI tools, data analytics, and reporting.
