Device Coordinator Cardiac Arrhythmia Specialist

MedStar Health is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Device Cardiac Arrhythmia Coordinator to join our dynamic Electrophysiology Lab team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the operations of the MHVI Arrhythmia Device Clinic, supervising clinical support staff, and developing protocols and educational programs for patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and direct activities of assigned personnel, making recommendations regarding hiring, salary adjustments, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop and maintain standards of care for patients with Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIED).
- Update, maintain, and manage patient device database using current and appropriate software.
- Coordinate the day-to-day patient flow in the Arrhythmia Center Device Clinic, adjusting schedules and patient appointments to meet changing priorities.
- Identify problems and recommend corrective action, evaluating patients' complaints and symptoms and consulting physicians for appropriate intervention.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3 or more years of progressively responsible job-related experience.
- Active DC RN License.
- International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification within 2 years preferred.
