Job Summary:

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a skilled LPN to join our Cardiac Telemetry team in a PRN capacity. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to patients with a range of cardiac conditions, including STEMI, post-cardiac catheterization care, CHF, arrhythmia, and blood pressure management. Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, with Patient Care Associates on staff to assist as needed. We strive to create an environment where clear communication, accountability, mutual respect, and teamwork are utilized to provide our patients with exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Cardiac Telemetry unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current LPN license in the hiring state
• 1+ year of LPN experience, preferably in a Cardiac Telemetry setting
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
• LPN-IV Certification
• Ability to work a minimum of 36 hours per 6-week scheduling period
