Job Summary:

At Kaiser Permanente, we are committed to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients by providing accurate and timely imaging services.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnostic Testing: Perform quality images through protocols and positions to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest, respecting patients' comfort and ability. Evaluate images for technical quality, assuring proper identification is recorded.
  • Customer Service: Provide timely, responsive, expert services to customers in a positive and friendly manner, to include patients, physicians, and other fellow employees. Promote patient-focused care throughout daily activities.
  • Patient and Employee Safety: Maintain safe radiation levels at all times to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others. Perform all necessary equipment checks prior to use and ensure patient and regulatory standards are adhered to.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Graduated from an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and Basic Life Support.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • One (1) year experience in a hospital setting.
  • One (1) year of direct cross-sectional anatomy experience.
  • One (1) year of recent direct experience in diagnostic x-ray procedures.
