Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in a float position. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing diagnostic procedures and providing high-quality imaging services to patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing radiology rooms for patient procedures, developing images, maintaining supply levels, and ensuring diagnostic equipment is properly working within manufacturer specifications.

Additionally, the Radiologic Technologist will be expected to efficiently operate equipment according to prescribed safety standards, exercise professional judgment in the performance of diagnostic services, and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service, working effectively with physicians, customers, and coworkers, and adhering to radiation safety, safety precautions, and infection control practices.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality general radiographic and specialty images through the use of clinical protocols.
  • Position patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest, respecting patients' comfort and ability.
  • Demonstrate knowledge to perform general radiographic and specialty procedures through the use of radiological equipment.
  • Obtain images in accordance with proper radiographic techniques.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality, assuring proper identification is recorded.

Requirements:

  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification required at hire from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
