Primary Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Respiratory Therapy Manager, the Registered Respiratory Therapist is tasked with delivering proficient and effective Respiratory Care Services as prescribed by our physicians, adhering to established protocols.

Employment Type

We are seeking to fill two full-time positions for Registered Respiratory Therapists at our downtown facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and prioritize work assignments to optimize the number of procedures completed.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed within designated time frames.
  • Conduct Pulmonary Function tests in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Testing procedures include, but are not limited to:
  • Noninvasive BIPAP/CPAP therapy
  • Pulse oximetry for oxygen titration
  • Administration and monitoring of respiratory and therapeutic treatments, including aerosolized medications, sputum inductions, pulmonary function assessments, and arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Possession of a current Florida Respiratory Therapy License (CRT or RRT).
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • While prior experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory as on-the-job training will be provided.
