Position: Licensed Respiratory Care Specialist

Compensation: $24-$28 per hour

We maintain affiliations with leading hospitals across Central Florida and are available around the clock to address emergencies.

Role Summary

Under the guidance of the Respiratory Therapy Manager, the Licensed Respiratory Care Specialist is tasked with delivering proficient and effective Respiratory Care Services as prescribed by our medical professionals, adhering to established protocols.

Employment Type

This position is available as full-time only.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receives assignments and organizes workload efficiently to optimize the number of procedures conducted.
  • Completes all designated tasks within specified timeframes.
  • Conducts Pulmonary Function tests in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Testing encompasses, but is not limited to:
  • Noninvasive BIPAP/CPAP therapy
  • Pulse oximetry for oxygen titration
  • Administration and oversight of all respiratory and therapeutic modalities, including aerosolized medications, sputum inductions, pulmonary function testing, and arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
  • Possession of a current Florida Respiratory Therapy License (CRT or RRT)
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Experience is advantageous, but not mandatory – on-the-job training will be provided
